The Davis Langdon team is working collaboratively with City staff to assess current programs, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to maximize Green Building success for the City and County of San Francisco. Davis Langdon serves as the project leader for the team responsible for providing a variety of services including program management, education and training (public and internal), LEED project management, commissioning, life cycle cost modeling, and development of internal building department policies and the tools for implementing them.
Specifically, the team wrote technical and policy content related to residential green construction and the GreenPoint Rated green building rating systems, developed life cycle cost analyses, conducted analyses of the single and multi-family GreenPoint Rated checklists for viability of use in the CCSF, developed a green job “train the trainer” training session for job training programs within the CCSF, and provided ongoing consulting to CCSF staff . Further, we are developing green building program design and development, developing participant guidelines and tools for implementing existing and new programs, providing technical assistance to projects and government agencies, and facilitating trainings to internal city staff from a variety of departments and other participants. Our team authored the City’s new Administrative Bulletin, a guidebook for the building industry to comply with the City’s green building ordinance. In addition, we have completed extensive training with the City to upgrade their knowledgebase with the newest versions of LEED.
