A quality business park to replace a disparate group of buildings... Construction News’ ‘Best Managed UK Project of its Time.’

When our longstanding client BP embarked on a major redevelopment of their campus at Sunbury-on-Thames, they looked to Davis Langdon for experienced input.

We became a seamless part of the BP organisation for the duration of this large and complex project, embracing their culture and integrating into their environment.

The project aimed to redevelop the existing research, development and administration campus, creating 635,000 sq ft of contemporary high-tech space. Phase two of the redevelopment of the brownfield site provided 260,000 sq ft of fully fitted office accommodation, arranged in four buildings and including extensive enabling and external works.

The development has been designed to meet commercial market specifications suitable for BP as first occupier, but is also adaptable to meet the property market rental criteria.

Davis Langdon’s consultants quickly became pivotal members of the BP team, providing continuity, ensuring maximum knowledge gains and development of strong working relationships.

The result is an award-winning facility, forming the world’s largest BP office complex, judged by Construction News Awards as the best managed UK project of its time.
