Davis Langdon were appointed as Cost Consultants and played a major involvement in leading the procurement of the main Contractor and agreement of the Contract Sum.  

The project was procured on a 2 - stage design and build route , due to the main tenant's (Olswang) desired occupation date and termination of their current lease. The main tenant's Cat 'B' fit-out started whilst the main contract was underway.

Floor Area: 250,000 sq ft
Form of Contract: JCT 98 Design and Build
Contract Period: 23 Months

The project was a huge success for the Client. Changes to accommodate tenant requests extended the completion date although the project was completed on budget. 

The interface between main tenant's Cat 'B' fit-out whilst the main contract was still in progress was a huge challenge for both project teams and both contractors.
