Peterborough Team Praised in Local Business Awards

November, 2006

Congratulations to Davis Langdon’s Peterborough office who received a highly commended at the Peterborough Business Awards 2006.

The office was commended for its expansion of Davis Langdon’s award winning Graduate Development Programme, which takes school leavers from the local area and puts them through part-time degrees.

The firm’s success in reaching The Sunday Times Top 100 best Companies to Work For list was also highlighted as well as its IIP accreditation.

Davis Langdon Associate Chris Laud who attended along with Partner Chris Brooks, Mandy Ashpool Business Development Manager, and graduate Alistair Howden, commented:

“It’s brilliant. It’s a great reward for what we have done in the Peterborough office. I think Peterborough has a huge number of talented youngsters and if the town is going to thrive, it needs to find ways to keep these youngsters here rather than losing them to London and larger cities. Our work aims to help keep this talent in the Peterborough area.”

Davis Langdon’s ever-expanding Peterborough office is working on a number of major projects in the area including the Thomas Deacon Academy, the Alma Road Residential project and the Orton Centre Redevelopment.
