Over 50 years' service in the South Pacific.

Our firm dates back to 1953/54 in New Zealand, originally with George Knapman and Barrie Clark, and 1955 in Australia, originally with Steve Beattie and Ron Prowse. Both practices developed with a strong reputation in quantity surveying.

The practices joined Davis Langdon & Seah International, enabling them to offer the resources of the world’s largest firm of quantity surveyors to the South Pacific region. Beattie Prowse joined in the early 1980s to open the Sydney office, formally merging in 1990 to form Davis Langdon in Australia. Knapman Clark & Company Limited joined in 1999, changing its trading name to Davis Langdon New Zealand in 2000. Since then we have built our brand as Davis Langdon.

As a result of ever-increasing contact with the diversified regional activities of Davis Langdon & Seah International, we have progressively expanded our services and offices throughout Australia and New Zealand. This expansion has focused on risk and value management directed towards all project stakeholders and property owners.

Today we have significant capability to deliver project management, value management and risk management services, in addition to our core business of cost management, in line with our clients' increasing concern for project controls.
